HOMEWORK

Assignment Books
Assignment books are used in third grade to help students become organized with their at home assignments.  Each day students will write in their assignment books.  Please check and sign your child's assignment book each night.  I will check each morning for your signature in the assignment books.
Weekly Packet
Students will be given a homework packet each week on Friday.  The packet will be due the following Thursday.  The packet will have spelling pages, math pages, and a reading log.  
Spelling Test
Students will be given a spelling list on Friday. The spelling test will be on Thursday.
Homework Information
The homework will reinforce a concept presented that day or earlier in the week.  If the homework is too difficult for the student, please encourage them to bring it in so that we may work on it together.  Homework should not cause tears.  If your child is too overwhelmed by the homework, please let me know so we can discuss ways to make the homework less frustrating.
