In the News...
We have begun a physics unit on balance and motion. We'll experiment with a variety of objects and discover elements of stability in the process of balance. We'll record our findings in our second grade Scientists' Notebooks.
In November and December families are invited to share some part of their culture or family traditions with those of us in Room 6. We'd love to see a wide variety of sharing over the next few weeks. Look for details coming soon!
We begin Book Club Lunch in November. Each Wednesday Mrs. Tsacoyeanes will have a group of six readers share lunch and good books. Check your child's backpack each Monday to see if it is his/her special week! On that day, your child will need to bring a lunch from home, as we don't want to miss a moment of booktalk with children buying lunches.
