Ask your students about the new, exciting Renewable Energy project we are starting which coincides with our Energy unit. The research will be done mostly outside of school, due to limited resources here. It is a group project.

The students will be participating in TCM. This stands for, Together Case MCT. Students are encouraged, but not required, to work with a student from Kerry and Ann's programs during one recess a week. They will also participate in a weekly seminar once a week with Tina, Kerry and Ann.
The DARE program will be starting next Wednesday 11/4. This will be our science unit until December.
I’d like to tell you about an activity that our class will be working on during the week of Thanksgiving. We are going to participate in Project Bread’s Spoons Project. You have probably heard of Project Bread from their annual Walk for Hunger in Boston. This is another activity organized by Project Bread, and it is a fundraiser to help raise money to feed hungry families in Massachusetts.
